Email Deliverability and why we need SPF & DKIM records.

Most email service providers nowadays use email filters that stop and prevent untrusted emails from reaching the recipient’s inbox. If your domain name is not supported by SPF and DKIM records then your email will be treated as spam by the recipient’s mail server resulting in your email being sent to the junk folder.

What is the SPF record?

SPF, or Sender Policy Framework, is an anti-spam technology that takes advantage of the fact that nearly all abusive e-mail messages use fake sender addresses. The technology helps to stop spam by propagating a record to mail exchanges in which hosts are authorized to send mail for a domain.
SPF record format using the TXT record type, so every email server has its own SPF TXT record that can be added to the domain name

What is the DKIM record?

(DKIM) stand for DomainKeys Identified Mail is another email technique to link a domain name to an email message, thereby allowing the domain holder or the email sender to have some responsibility for the message. This link can be created by means of a digital signature It’s essential to communicate of a public and private key to ensure that mail was correctly sent from an authoritative server for your domain which will be validated by recipients.
